Units
Each value displayed in Parfera is assigned a unit (e.g., Thousands, $ Millions USD, %, etc.). This feature improves readability of models and prevents downstream confusion from mixed unit combinations, which is often an issue faced by modelers in Excel or Sheets. Units are set using dropdowns next to each row, variable, output, and custom column. Display precision for each unit type can be adjusted under Format.

Behind the scenes, the software retains all raw values for calculations but scales the values visible to users according to their unit type.
To quickly set multiple rows to the same unit, select each row by clicking on the left end of the row before selecting a unit from the dropdown of any selected row.
